1. Who we are

Plugin Pros operates Plugin Pros Live Chat at livechat.pluginpros.co. This Privacy Notice explains what personal data we collect, why we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Data we collect

Account data: name, email address, organization name, and password (stored hashed). Billing data: plan, subscription status, and identifiers from Paddle (we do not store full card numbers). Service data: API keys, chat rooms, messages, and usage volume needed to operate live chat and meter billing. Technical data: IP address, browser type, and logs used for security and debugging. If you complete reCAPTCHA, Google may also process technical data under its own terms. Analytics data: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and referral source, collected through Google Analytics on this website.

3. How we use data

We use personal data to create and secure accounts, provide live chat, measure usage for billing, send verification and service emails, process payments through Paddle, detect abuse, understand how the public website is used, and improve the Service. We do not sell personal data.

4. Payment processor

Paddle is an independent controller/processor for payment data. When you check out, Paddle collects billing name, address, email, tax information, and payment method details as needed to take payment, calculate tax, and prevent fraud. See Paddle’s privacy policy for how they handle that data.

5. Retention

We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and dispute purposes. Chat content is retained so the Service can function for your organization; you may request deletion of an account by contacting us. Google Analytics retains aggregated usage data according to our Google Analytics settings.

6. Sharing

We share data with service providers who help us run the Service (hosting, email delivery, Paddle for payments, Google reCAPTCHA, and Google Analytics). We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the Service, our users, or the public.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to certain processing, including analytics. Contact us using your account email to make a request. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. You can block Google Analytics cookies in your browser.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies or local storage (for example an auth token) so you can stay signed in. Payment checkout may set cookies from Paddle. We also use Google Analytics cookies (or similar identifiers) to measure visits, popular pages, and approximate location so we can improve the website. Analytics cookies are not required to use the Service. We do not use advertising cookies.
